The Quadrangle, a beautiful outdoor courtyard, is the central feature of the Pillar Boutique Hotel London. It is surrounded on all four sides by the Main House Hotel Rooms, thus permitting access to it from several wings. It is a focal point for all guests, either those luxuriating in the boutique hotel or to participants at an event in our on-site conference facilities.
This picturesque, grassy space is tended to regularly by a dedicated team of landscapers. Its flexible nature and design provides the stunning backdrop for a variety of different North London event types from an outdoor reception to a meet and greet area, or a wedding. This former Victorian dining room has been fittingly converted into the main function room in our North London Boutique Hotel. Guests attending a corporate event at this conference room, or a wedding at one of the most unique wedding venues in London will be immediately impressed as the modern refurbishment lends the room an air of elegant luxuriousness while remaining faithful to the original use and feel of the space. The function room has been decorated in a classic-contemporary style. Elegantly neutral, pale silver and deep purple tones allow you maximum scope to tailor your corporate event or wedding theme colours in whichever way you choose. This provides you with an event venue that naturally assists you in personalising your event.
The Windsor Suite function room features a built-in projector with drop-down screen and controls for presenting audio/visual inside the room, or even projecting audio around other parts of the campus. An advanced air-conditioning system maintains the room at a comfortable temperature all year around. Flexible enough to serve as a conference room, wedding venue or any other kind of function room, it can seat up to 120 people around banqueting tables, or up to 200 people sitting in a theatre-style configuration..
The Citadel is a three story high, arch-braced, vaulted oak ceilinged function hall, supported by timber-framed brick arcades and pillars, in the original redbrick construction common to 19th Century manor halls, offset by the brown- and white-marble and herringbone-patterned oak floors. Ornate woodwork adorns the walls and gallery area, much of it in its original state. The acoustics are second to none and the setting couldn’t be better: The Citadel opens directly onto the beautiful Quadrangle, completing the antique and rustic Pillar experience.
The Citadel can serve as a conference room, function room or wedding venue as it has a seating capacity of approximately 75 people around banqueting tables, or 120 people on chairs, with space for seating an additional 40 guests in the gallery.
The Tower Lounge
The Tower Lounge is not just another hotel lounge. It is a feature-laden former juncture between the two adjoining segments of the historic building at the Pillar Boutique Hotel. The original parquet flooring and brick archway have been restored and retained, and comfortable couches with Wi-Fi access, complete the transition to a 21st century Boutique Hotel lounge.
The organic, living lobby is used daily as the breakfast room and throughout the day is often a hub of activity where guests can drop in for a quick snack and chat. Comfortable couches and a wide screen TV mounted above a modern fireplace complete the cosy feel of the room.
