No matter what you’re looking for, Mill Hill has a huge range of fantastic places to eat. If you’re looking for breakfast, lunch, or even brunch, Bob’s cafe on The Broadway is extremely popular with Mile Hill’s locals. 

Or, for an evening out why not try El Vaquero, on Hale Lane? This local Argentinian restaurant has fantastic, authentic Argentinian food and even offers the Man V El Vaquero challenge for those brave enough. Diners who managed to work their way through the staggering amount of food don’t have to pay for their bill but be warned, those who failed to pay £30 receive a losers t-shirt.

 

Sporting Activities 

Sports enthusiasts will be pleased to know that the Mill Hill area is home to the world-famous Saracens Rugby Club. Situated less than two miles from Mill Hill East, Saracens are a renowned English Premiership team and European Champions Cup holders. 

The club also boasts England stars Owen Farrell, Elliot Daly, Jamie George, Maro Itoje and Billy Vunipola among their ranks. The XStone stadium was a designated London Olympics 2012 training ground and is definitely worth a visit.

Mill Hill has a brilliant range of leisure opportunities in the local area. The closest swimming pool is located at the Barnet Copthall Leisure Centre just off Page Street. The area around Mill Hill also has plenty of golf clubs to choose from for those who enjoy hitting the golf course. An Equestrian Centre on Lullington Garth offers riding lessons and livery.

If you are interested in keeping up your fitness while you visit the area, there is a new Virgin Active gym and pool next to the Waitrose in the new development close to the Mill Hill East tube station.

A fantastic outing for the whole family is Dinosaur Safari Adventure Golf just a few miles outside of Mill Hill. This activity is sure to capture the whole family’s imagination and make for an excellent day out.

History lovers will be enthralled by the Royal Air Force Museum less than a mile away from Mill Hill Broadway. This museum offers a comprehensive history of the RAF from aircraft to uniforms throughout English history.

Mill Hill sits on the edge of London and has beautiful views across the city from The Ridgeway. The Ridgeway is a lovely street and one of Mill Hill’s most loved attractions, offering great opportunities for walking, horse riding, golf and cycling.

Mill Hill park also offers a great outdoor space for whatever you like to do in nature. The park has entrances in Wise Land, Flower Lane and Watford Way.
